B Installing the Hardware

The DTU3005P device is a compact, low-power,

sealed device designed for use in an industrial

environment. It can be mounted on any flat surface

inside equipment cabinets requiring only nominal

ventilation for convection cooling. Four inches

clearance in front of the unit is required for

attachment of communication cables. A modular

connector is supplied for unit power.

B.2 Power Requirements

The DTU3005P device requires a DC power supply

of 7 to 35 VDC rated at 500 mA at 9 VDC. The

power supply connector is provided with the device.

The DTU3005P device can be powered from an off-

the-shelf DC power supply. The voltage polarity is

marked on the front of the DTU3005P unit.
